RESEARCH SEMINARS AND WORKSHOPS
A practical understanding of the preparation and use of pre-industrial mineral pigments and gold is integral to my research into historical manuscripts. Their use is also part of my creative practice.
Pigment and gold processing workshops form the basis for collaborative research seminars and professional development with practitioners and artists.
Institutions I have worked with in this capacity include Qatar National Library Doha, National Library of Egypt Cairo, The Asian Art Museum San Francisco, The University of Melbourne, International Islamic University Malaysia at Kuala Lumpur, Bodleian Libraries Oxford, British Library London, The British Museum London, and the V&A Museum London.
